Hi, I’m Laurie Masanellie—the maker behind LM Pottery. I’m a retired elementary school teacher, mom to three girls, wife to my husband, and proud owner of a big ol’ dog named Singer, who is very much the love of our lives (ranking just above my kids… don’t tell them).

I’m originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and thanks to military life, we’ve lived in Texas, Virginia, and Germany before finding our way back home. About ten years ago, we landed in Northwest Arkansas and quickly realized this is where we’re meant to be.

My love for pottery started as a kid at the Little Red Firehouse in Pine Bluff, where I first got my hands muddy. I continued taking pottery classes at the University of Arkansas while earning my education degree. Pottery has made retirement incredibly fulfilling, and my family never has to wonder what they’ll get for Christmas or birthdays.
